We are coming to castle rock for the day. Looking see if there is anything bititng. planning on launching as close to I-94 as possible. Where would that be?
Also is there a bait shop in the area anywhere?
And if so whats a good bait to get. We could chase white bass, or walleye if they are biting. Any notes would help thank you so much.
You’re going to have to merge onto I-90 east bound at Tomah and get off at New Lisbon exit. Take a left off the exit and go a couple miles until you hit county A, take a right and go a couple miles and take a left on highway 82. Take a right on county G which will lead you to Buckhorn State Park. There is a gas station/bait shop just down the road from the park. You’ll need a seasonal or daily sticker to launch. Haven’t been out there for a couple weeks but I do know that trolling bite has been good.
