I have no interest in archery hunting whatsoever. Except that I totally want to go bowfishing! Now obviously I get that you have to be a pretty good shot, so there’s no way, but still.

I mean, maybe the reality isn’t what I have in my head, but to me this looks like about the most fun you can have without committing at least a petty misdemeanor.

Is this really as awesome as the youtube vids show? I mean is it pretty much constant action a lot of times?

If you have good spots, it can be if you time it right. If not, no. )

Yes it is as awesome as it looks. I am by no means any sort of big time bowfishermen, but i can tell you it is a blast. As far as constant action, if you know where they spawning and can get there you will have ample target supply. After the spawn you really have to know good spots to get on real fast paced stuff because they are not ridiculously packed into the spawn areas. If you have the ability to shoot at night from a boat that is a whole nother animal.

, In high school we would hit Pig’s Eye during the high water of the spring and slaughter them. We would put on waders and walk through the flooded trees. There would be so many that they would bounce off of your legs.
