Bunk carpet

    What do you guys use for bunk carpet? Looking to add some to my trailer, the boat does not load straight and thinking some carpet will fix it. LOL

    Most stores that sell boat accessories sell pre cut bunk carpet on a roll. I have thought about trying plastic 2x4s. As carpet doesn’t last long and boards rot. Also boat is more apt to freeze to the trailer. Local dealer had a bunch of pre carpeted bunks a few years ago.

    Looking to add some or replace some? What is on it now? Guess I am confused on how the boat is not sitting level and how carpet will fix that issue. Either way their is carpet for bunk trailers. There are also other products like Gatorbak and others that go in bunks.

    Edit:Seeing the picture now. Never seen a trailer like that.

    Now that I see the picture, that’s no problem. Standard issue for commercial fisherman. They’ve used that design for years.
