Bucktail River Jigs

    I’ve made up a bunch of river jigs for next week on Pool 4. Any colors you guys really like that I should include?

    Blue and white as well.

    In my experience, use about 1/4 of the Bucktail material for best results.

    Less is more

    They all work but you might want more black.

    Agree on black…I also like a dark olive green. Definitely seem to have better luck with darker colors when pitching hair jigs.

    Taking your advice I tied up some more last night and used about 2/3 less hair than I have been. What do you think?
