Today I found the crappies in about 42′ of water in a creak channel. They were not big by any means 9″-11″ but you could catch quite alot of them today. I didn’t keep any today but I am sure I caught 40 to 50 crappies. Rainbow trout or green 1/8oz buckshot rattle spoons 4′ to 10′ of the bottom tipped with a waxy and they would crush it. Also you can drive just about anywere on the lake with a 1/2 ton truck. There is basicaly a road all the way from the North boat ramp down to the West boat ramp. Just don’t try driving up by the damn or out past the island on the south end its the last to freeze and the first to thaw.
