Is the bite on?

I’m thinking of camping at Brushy this coming weekend and would like a report. Are the fish on their Fall feed yet? If so what’s biting? Help!!

Well I’ll reply to my own post. Fished Saturday. Bluegills were pretty easy to come by, but nothing else was. It was too windy to fish open water with 2 boys who don’t fish much so we stuck to the shorelines that were protected from wind. The crappie must be deeper. Bass were up shallow early, but nothing after about 10:30.

Does anybody fish Brushy in the late fall for Walleye? I’d be interested to hear how you do.

I try to get out there in the fall for some walleye fishing. We’ve caught some in the past. Brushy is pretty much an early morning and evening bite all year long. Very few reports on catching walleyes in the middle of the day there. I’ll post if I make it up there.
