Brag Board…Let’s See Your Toys

I did a post on this a couple years ago and it was fun to see what other toys folks have. Throw up pics of your toys whether it’s cars, trucks, boats, sleds, atv/utv, etc. Since we’re between seasons I thought this would be a fun thread.

I’m a big car guy. In addition to the 1850 Reata, I own a couple of pretty fast cars.

The 1969 Firebird I’ve owned since I was 14. Recently put a full modern tube frame suspension and big brakes underneath it. Kept the 455 and 4 speed as the power train. Put them on a chassis dyno and it makes about 450hp and 500 ft lbs of torque. We detuned it recently so it could run on pump gas. Now it drives and runs great.

The other is a 2019 ZL1 1LE Camaro I just purchased. Stock it makes 650hp and 650 ft lbs of torque. This one has some slight mods so it probably in the 700 hp range. If you do some research this is a corvette with a Camaro body. It has all the road race suspension mods the ZR1 ran….it’s a beast and I’m still figuring out how to drive it.

Post away! Let’s see what everyone has.

Don’t know how to post a picture but recently bought an electric golf cart from a fellow IDOr. With my cancer issues I can’t carry gear or walk the distance to my stands. I can load this up and drive to with in a short distance of my stands. Its the bomb. I have yet to run into beer cart though.

The pit bike for ripping wheelies around the neighborhood, and the spendy one.
I buy and sell stuff alot. I have gone through a list of bikes being my soft tail that was just sold. I sold a 69 Chevelle ss shell not to long ago to build a Ford high boy with my son. Don’t have any cool cars right now but that camaro is one I have looked at for a long time. Maybe one day. If I can find a truck I’ll be trading mine one of these days for a 3/4 ton.
My favorite toy was a 97 4 door long box f350 power stroke. 6 inch lift and was very clean in pearl white

The ZL1 is a beast….I’ll likely trade it for the 2023 Z06 coming out though. Next project will be to put a new LT motor in the Firebird.

Make sure you fit in a C8 before ordering one. I guy ordered one, took 2 years to get then kept it 500 miles and sold it because he couldnt fit and he was only 6’4″.
THe original MSRP was $91k and the dealership has it listed now for $120k

Reading this thread and happened to look across my office to the bag of my oldest’s smelly hockey equipment that I get to share a room with daily. This is where my “Toy” money goes every year. But I still got my yak!! rotflol

Gizmo, that is exactly what I want again. Once I can find a 4 door 8ft box. Maybe not as big of a camper but similar. My old pickup camper was the best thing I owned for fishing. Changed how my weekends worked

The ZR1 doesn’t get the DSSV shocks like the ZLE, so if anything it’s a bit more extreme. Get that baby on a track! Camaro6.com has some good info, and there’s a Camaro 1LE R group if you’re on the book face. Even if you’re not going to track it, get a bit more aggressive alignment than what they come from the factory. -2* front and -1.5* rear camber is good for street use and really wakes up the front end.

I had the baby brother, an SS 1LE for a bit. Amazing car, really miss it and will probably pick up another one once prices come back down to reality. Replaced it with a KTM 690 Enduro which is a bit cheaper to have sitting around all winter..

It is great for fishing. Start the fridge. Throw some food in and hook up the Skeeter. It makes packing a breeze. I Gypsy camp most of the time. I can drive part way and sleep. Finish the drive in the AM. The slide out does make it a little more obvious. But this model I can use it with the slide in. And I can use the bathroom without putting out the slide. This is the only slide model that you can do that. If fishing sucks I can just take off for other waters. My old camper is up for sale in the classified.

Lots of fun toys on here! Matt, that Firebird is HOT!! 🔥

I love using all kinds of equipment, but my go-to favorite is still the golf cart. Just hop in n go! It doesn’t go very fast (despite my mom’s death grip on the side handle when we were cruising through the trails!) and won’t climb steep hills… but it sure is fun and comfortable to drive! 😁
