Big Kansas wiper caught through the ice on ultralight

    This is the ONLY wiper that lives in this pond. It was stocked several years ago and hasn’t been seen in two or three years because the pond is rarely fished. Last Saturday she decided to say hello and made our day to say the least. It was caught on a custom jigs and spins striper special jig with a chartreuse crappie nibble in 7 feet of water. Enjoy.

    It really was. Totally unexpected. We didn’t know the fish existed until about an hour before it was caught. The owner had come down and told us. Pretty cool.
