Berry identification help

    Found these back in the woods behind the house. What are they and are they edible?

    Nightshade. Poisonous.

    I think it’s nightshade. So I suggest not eating the berries.

    Black Nightshade. The red berries will turn a deep black from red. Best to cut it off at the ground and brush the stump end with round-up right from the jug.

    Thanks guys. My grandson sees a berry and he has it in his mouth faster than you can say berry. I will eradicate them. Somehow.

    My daughter is the same way. I look for anything berry looking almost everyday so she cant find it.
