One of ‘those’ evenings….

Let me first define what the Subject of this post is about. It wasn’t one of “Those” evenings, where you’d wished you’d stayed at home, comforted by the taste of an icy cold beverage. In fact, it was quite the contrary…Imagine one of those evenings where if there is a God, he was surely shining down on me.

It was one of those evenings where I threw a Chug Bug(by accident) into a thick mass of grapevine to the point where I couldn’t see it, but with a quick flick of the rod tip it was like Bret Favre himself had thrown it back out. It was also one of those nights where the Bass had shown mercy to me by falling prey to whatever bait I offered them. Weightless Frogs….Yep… Swim Jigs….yep… My favorite Chug Bug…good Lord Yes!! What a fun evening it was to have the river to myself. At least it seemed like I had it to myself.

I apologize for the photos. It was my priority to get these fish in the boat and back into the water as fast as possible.

For as good as the fishing was tonight, the Favorite Wife is going to have a devil of a time keeping me home tomorrow….

That Chug Bug shows some wear and tear. Great fish all around.

    The stars were aligned.

    You could do no wrong.

You were “one” with the bass and nature.

Dang is Stacey going to be ticked!
