The back channel ramp will have its bubbler running again this winter. An the back channel ramp has more parking spots than any other launch in the area. . . RRR

Did they leave the marker up for the wing dam crossing for newbies that have not been there before?

No. Those markers were put out there by some of the locals. And they don’t get them out like the used to. I am guessing that high water of the last few years could be the reason why. . RRR

I would think with this weather the ramp will be in GREAT shape for the weekend.

It’s a closing dam and it runs all the way across the channel. (Which is why it’s called a closing dam). It’s easy to see if you’re watching the water. Stay to the North side (main land side, or what some would call the WI side) and you’ll be good.

I always trim my motor up. It’s just habit.

They did a great job of building that ramp with docks on both sides of the ramp and the night lights. Once inside the two docks there is zero current to load your boat in.

Is it true you have offered the Queen Emma as a ice breaker if needed? wink
