Tree stand safety, what advice do you guys have?
The most difficult part to me seems to be getting the stands hung, and then getting in and out of stand.
Thanks

Don’t fall!
Seriously. Use extra caution anytime you are in a tree. Take your time and do things properly, NO SHORTCUTS!! If that means an extra tree step or two, then do it. Use a good safety harness. Once you get in the stand, you won’t even know you have it on with a good one.
My advice is to use a lineman’s climbing strap when climbing and hanging your stands. Like Kooty said, use an extra step so you are high enough to step down onto your stand. Majority of falls occur either climbing into or out of a treestand. Be safe and always buckle up!
It’s always good if possible to have a buddy along for an extra hand and in case something would happen plus it cuts the time in half.
one thing i did is put a extra peg above where i climb up so i have something to grab on to on my way into my stand.
