I tossed out a question on baitcasters, specifically any that were easy to use and trouble free for someone with ten apparent thumbs whenever I picked a baitcaster up. Almost unanimously the response was the Tatula. It was either gimruis or mahtofire that said it didn’t matter which model, just get a Tatula. So I did. Tonight I bought another and will likely pick up another this summer.
So, for everyone that suggested the Tatula reels either from experience or product loyalty, Thank You!
I’m not unfamiliar with bait casters, and in fact have a couple 4500 C3 Ambassadors spooled with 8 pound braid that I use for vertical jigging. Have had and used these reels for maybe 15 years. BUT, there’s a distinct difference between pushing a button, releasing it and watching a jig drop down in the water and casting a bait 75 feet. That Tatula made all the difference for me after hearing only a few suggestions on set-up from ya’ll. I sure do appreciate your help!
