Again this past week started on Tuesday and I fished 6 days straight. Mostly mornings with the report being about the same as last week. The week started and ended with good fishing with a double slot right away Tuesday morning. We ended that day with 25 or so eyes. I did have a couple slow days last week in the same areas I did well on Tuesday but that’s fishing I guess. Over all though it was a pretty good week with fish numbers averaging 10 to 15 eyes per 4 hours trip. Leeches are still out producing crawlers for me. I think that will change with the warm up we are having. I have been focusing my efforts in 9 to 12ft with some days moving out to 20 or so feet if needed. We ended the week Sunday with decent fishing and a 2 person limit. (not pictured) Single hook rigs and light egg sinkers with about a 4ft leader are all I’m using right now. As always the fish are more active with some wind but calm days are also seeing decent action.
