2020 WI Turkey permits

    December 10th is the deadline for permits to be submitted in WI. Getting mine in this weekend. Finish up some hunting this fall and ice fishing to get through till turkey time.

    I put an annual reminder on my phone for the 2 days, the 9th and 10th, figured I didn’t need anymore than that!!!

    Results are already posted. I wish MN DNR made a quick turn like this. We all got our permits for WI. Just waiting on MN now to apply for.

    For Crying out Loud Hoyt!!! I got mine too!!!

    Always apply for Z7 in the Northwoods, I think more people want the 2nd weekend to be sure that the snow has a better chance to leave the ground… but I figure if fishing is something I want to put on hold for a few days in May (tough for me to do), I have land in Z3 over the counter can be gotten with a prompt buy over the counter in March for Period 3 or there are left over tags for 4, 5 & 6 by the 1000’s all of the time…

    it’s crazy how fast that turned around this year. I have hunted z4 season E for 18 years now with great success. Then for few years starting adding in Z1 season C picking up leftover tags in March. Thinking I might start that again this spring.

    My 14 yr old daughter and my 11 yr old son drew Z3 season C tags. We will be coming done to hunt the youth season Easter weekend.

    Turkey season. The biggest scam ever created by the Wisconsin Dnr. Add it to the small game season and open up the bag limit to 5. Those crap picking buzzards will be just fine and the Dnr can cook up there next scam to take your money and create bureaucracy

    I look forward to turkey hunting because after pheasant season closes on Jan 1 (MN), there’s nothing for me to do but sort my sock drawer until Spring since I don’t ice fish. Gobble Gobble

    I was drawn for the Wisconsin C season, when can I buy my license?

    Darell:

    No need to buy your turkey license until after the current licenses expire… If you have a current license that will expire March 30, 2020. So buying the next license will have to be done before the 3rd turkey season starts.
