Hey guys pretty close to pulling the trigger on one of these. Any advice on if a kicker will be needed? Will have the 115merc pro xs motor with a terrova 80 on it. With all the bells and whistles attached what is the going rate people are paying for theirs? If this question is not allowed please delete. Thanks.

What do you use the boat for? If you are going to speed troll for muskies then probably yes. If it’s normal stuff on lakes I would bet that TM would suffice.

You could also just upgrade to a 112# TM. That would be alot less expensive than a kicker.

I’m curious on this as well, I was looking at the same boat.

My FIL has an ’18 same setup. We need more specifics on your types of fishing you will be doing to do any type of recommendations.

Guy who mostly bass fishes and pulls spinners once in awhile will need alot different stuff than a dedicated troller on the great lakes.

Walleyes 95 percent of time on mid to large lakes. Anybody here have a newer one with reviews on it or ballpark price they paid?

I have an 1875..Id save the money and upgrade the trolling motor to a 36v set up (uses less amps plus an extra battery). I started with a 24v, it would only troll 2-4 hours depending on wind conditions. I can troll, anchor lock, etc all day with no issues with the 36v in any conditions.
Its a tight fit, but all the batteries and charger still fit in (under) the middle rod locker.

Thanks all for the help. Ended up with a 1875 for a lot better deal than the 1775 with better electronics. Can’t wait to pick it up next week.

It’s ok to post what dealer you went with. If you had a good experience, it could help others.

I hav the 2018 version of the same boat with the same motor. I currently have an 80# Terrova and my next move, in about a year from now, will be to move to a 112# trolling motor. I just can’t quite hold tight on the river sometimes and I’m using a much older Terrova without the bluetooth so my heading sensor that came on my boat doesn’t do anything which makes me do the spins in windy conditions to stay spot locked.

I am always looking at used kickers and may put one on eventually, but the 115 ProXS on this rig with a 4 blade prop can troll down to about 1.8 – 2.2 depending on current and wind so that works fine for most application for me outside of the trolling motor.

Thanks Kyle I ended up with the 1875 should be able to pick it up the next day or so. Trolling speed around 2mph was what I was looking for.
