What do you guys do to pass time these first couple hours when the odds are low of deer coming to field? I burn my cell battery pretty hard texting, IDO and Facebooking.

Have a handheld ya thee game that I’ve turned the sound off on and wrapped in camo duct tape. Had it since before I joined the cell phone world. Takes very little movement to play and helps pass the time.

My current high score is 615.

Those battery packs that charge your cell phone are awesome. Well worth the $20. Then you can text like a demon.

I have the Amazon Kindle app, so I can read books, magazines, etc. Wish I knew of some games that were quiet, didn’t require a lot of movement, and were fun.

X2…I can read all day and only use 10-20% of my iPhone battery.

I second a little handheld Yahtzee. Maybe a some IDO, FB and texting every now and then. Last week when Pat was filming me, I thought I would be nice and see if he wanted to play a friendly handheld Yahtzee tournament. His expressionless stare bore through me, I guess he’s a little more hardcore…..It was actually a trick because I just dinged 4 Yahtzees in a game and took the high score. He wouldn’t walk into my trap.

I either brush up on my quantum physics or work on my Ebola research. If my hunting buddy leaves his phone in the truck, I’ll borrow it and bookmark bad porn websites for his wife to find. Or sometimes I just play games like yahtzee, solitaire, or candy crush.
