Found out my current Mercury 25hp blew the driveshaft right below the pinion gear somehow, and in a well maintained 2002 nonetheless.
I am looking for a solid running tiller to put onto my Lund SSV 16. I’m open to options regarding year/make, however I do not want to adopt one to fix with preexisting issues. Also I’d like it to have alternator with wiring so I can charge my battery while it’s running as I had with my merc.
I’m located in Southwest suburbs of Chicago but am willing to travel if the situation is right. Also I will be traveling to North-central Wisconsin next week so might have opportunity if it presents itself to check one out.
