    I was at Bald Eagle and found some small crappies SW of the island. Haven’t tried much else in this lake. Love the website!

    Thanks for the post. I don’t hit Bald Eagle much except on ice for the crappies. The island seems to always hold some fish. Again thanks!!

    I think my brother-in-law fishes that with his boys a lot…he catches some nice crappie and some dandy pike too…

    I USED TO FISH BALDY EVERY WEEK FOR MUSKIE 5 OR 6 YEARS AGO. MY BEST LUCK WAS IN SEPTEMBER AROUND THE SOUTHERN SIDE OF THE ISLAND AND THE NORTH BAY AND NORTHWEST SHORELINE. I’ VE CAUGHT PIKE UP TO 38″ ALSO. ORANGE BUCKTAILS AND BLACK AND SILVER JACKPOTS WORKED WELL.
