Ill be waiting to see the finished product. Ive got a small boat at the cabin that needs one.
Im making it out of 3/4 conduit and 7/8 bimini hardware. here is a few pics of the brackets that will hold the rest of the blind. I had to order some hardware to keep the progress going but hope to have it tomorrow.

Where are you ordering your supplies from?
What do you expect to have invested in this project?
I got the hardware from my local marine dealer, the conduit from Menards and the fastgrass from Fleet. I have $30 into conduit, about $40 into hardware and $100 into the fastgrass mats and burlap. I borrowed a conduit bender from an electrician friend.

Lookin’ good that should be pretty slick when you get it all done.
I just need to make a cover for the bow. I’m going to make a platform in the front for my dog.

Looking good I’m guessing you are getting pretty pumped up to get it on the water and put it to use!

Interested in how the dog platform works out. I just completed a bi-fold blind for the boat but not sure how to build the platform. I would like to somehow integrate a platform-hinged gangplank but don’t want to eliminate the deke storage under the nose…….please post a pic when done, your blind looks awesome btw!

Here is the blind in action.

LOOKS REALLY GOOD! Did you down any birds?
Only saw one small flock. The wind was cranking. The coots and seagulls loved my set though. I think the high winds broke up the ice on the smaller lakes and they were using those because of the high winds.

Thought I would bump my thread as the season is here again.
