What does everyone think about this? Personally I don’t see why they dont have pool 4 included if it takes off out of treasure island? Maybe i’m missing something here?

Change of location is likely the main reason. It seemed they were alternating every other year and now they are back again the following year. Keeps the top guys from sitting on spots maybe…. who knows for sure.

this should be interesting.I wonder how many boaters already registered with the knowledge that this was going to be a “missisippi river/red wing”event?seems the flw might be burning bridges faster than they can build them back. this move may have eliminated some “fence-sitters”like myself that were planning on joining in.hope buffalo slough has stop lights in it

after the FYB tournament, the Full Throttle guys were around handing out flyers, and said that their tournaments on pool 3/4 are tentative as of now, due to work on the Lock and Dam 3, and might switch to pools 4/5 or croix/3.

so, that is why i’m guessing why they moved it from 3/4 to 3/croix, to eliminate any locking through issues with construction happening all year on that dam. and there will days that the lock will be completely closed, they are guessing 1-2 days a week, but they do not know for sure, nor can they tell what days it will be.

I hope they don’t switch to another venue or I will be yanking my entry. Not interested in fishing new water.

Always find it interesting that they make changes with out communicating. How hard is it to post the change and the reason.

Here’s the reason for the change:

    >> $ <<

Same reason that the last league finals were on Wissota, and the same reason that the Leech events are based out of another casino. FLW needs $, the casino has $ and can pay for the week’s worth of traffic through its facilities.

I’ve been on that full throttle website dozens of times and havent seen anything saying “tentative” on anything. I’ve sent $$ in for 2 tourneys and if pool 4 isnt part of these i’ll be pulling my entries as well.

Full Throttle events are definitley on pool 4, and we will include pool 3 whenever possible, which sounds like it will be all of them unless L & D plans change from what they said last like we explained on our post. Fishermen need to be a little flexible for uncontrollable changes like water level, DNR mandates, and economic factors, which is most likely the cause for FLW’s change along with some new water. Again, all Full Throttle river series will include pool 4, and unless unforseen changes pool 3 also.
    Thanks, see you soon.
