I fished pool 14 this morning looking for some wingdam eyes. When I got to the river this morning I knew it was going to be a tough day , the water was very dirty. The wind was also blowing 25 mph up the river. Needless to say it was a tough day. I did manage to boat six eyes. Early jig and crawler pitched to dams was working later in the day they were eating leeches on a three way rig . I sure hope the river cleans up soon , I think that would help the bite. I ended up with 3 slot fish 2 keepers and 1 short.

You did much better than we did. We ended up with one 18″ out of the sand pit in the morning along with some stripeys. The only thing we pulled off a wingdam was an 8lb flathead. We got our butts kicked by the wind! Oh well the bite will only get better.
