Pool 5 Eyes

    Was down on Pool 5 Saturday with Jeremey Schriener(owner of Schriener Sports shop in Alma) and very good! He showed me tricks and tactics to catch these early fish and it payed off!! We ended up boating about 25 fish Saturday! It was a blast! I didn’t think I would be in a boat this early in the year but he broke the ice away from the landing about 5 days before! If you have any questions about Pool 5 get ahold of them! They know their stuff and whats going on down there! A big thanks goes out to Jeremy for taking us out! And by the way we were using 1/8 oz jigs with ringworms. It didn’t matter what color but it had to have a chartreuse tail!

    Well I hope you come back and tell us how you do next time out Smoken!

    Jeremy’s a good guy. Never met him, but we’ve talked a lot via Pm and such.

    Pool 5 has been good for us this week to. Might have to miss work tomorrow.

    I think it is cool anglers appear to be hitting other pools, and spreading out. I also like to fish pool 6 and 3. There is incredible fish in all of the pools in mn!
