Headed to Lake Pepin this Friday and Saturday. Going to try trolling raps for the first time. Just looking for any suggestions on what type/size to buy and any colors that can be some “go to” colors for the river. Thanks!

Chartrues and Blue/Silver. On my way to drag some around now till dark and all day 2marrow.P.M. me wen or thursday and I will let you know if I still have a pattern going.
PS #5’s and 7’s
Firetiger is also another good color to try. The fish still seem to be roaming around so try different depths, lure sizes and speeds. Be prepared for alot of short fish as well.
My favorites this time of year are the #5 Jointed Shad Raps. There is a ton of grass & debris floating in the system right now, and the extra wobble these give off really helps detect a fouled up lure.
My go to colors as of the last few weeks have been Red Craw, Blue/Orange & Hot Steel.
On upriver the jig bite has been very good….just saying don”t leave them at home!!!
