Using a Marcum Underwater Camera with a Lowrance Carbon

Has anyone used their underwater camera with their HD screen? I have a Marcum camera I use ice fishing, wondering if that camera works with the Lowrance unit video screen. I picked up an adapter today, but the Marcum connection is not compatible with the adapter I bought for the Lowrance unit, unless I’m looking at it wrong. Did I get the wrong adapter, or do I need a different camera brand to use it with my Carbon?

I use a Marcum 825 with my Carbon. You need the Lowrance video in adapter cable and a short RCA cable to connect the camera video output (yellow RCA) to the adapter cable.

The Carbon screen gives you an incredible camera image that you can see from just about any angle and even in the most direct sunlight. It’s an awesome setup.

    Thanks for the reply Waxy!

So you connect the Marcum monitor to the video in adapter rather than the camera itself?

    Sorry I missed this.

Yes. You use an RCA cable (old style yellow end video cable) to connect from the back of the camera to the Lowrance video adapter cable.
