First Turkey – Awesome Hunt

    Literally had THE perfect hunt this morning…deeks up and not in the blind 25 minutes…birds gobbling all around us and 3 came in silent from behind us….They didn’t like something and weren’t going commit, doubled this guy over at 45 yards for my first turkey!! Done – 6:15a.m. 23.87lbs….9 3/4″ beard 7/8″ spurs…He had been doing some battling that’s for sure…just awesome!!!

    Congrats on your first Slop. For me, I was never thought I’d get into Turkey hunting. Then Brad got me in the woods and it’s been something I look forward to each spring now!

    Congrats!!! I know the feeling, as I got my 1st turkey 2 weeks ago. I relive the experience in my mind every day. Way to go!

    The first of many more to come I hope. I don’t think anyone forgets it, and its something you retain as fuel for every other turkey hunt you’ll ever do. Phenomenal!
