I posted previously about having a problem with my auger after switching to True Fuel. This had nothing to do with the True Fuel. I was able to tear into it this afternoon and found that a bearing went out in the transmission. The timing was just a coincidence with switching to True Fuel.
I ordered a bearing and should be able to get the auger going again. It is one of the original Eskimo Shark Augers from about 15 years ago. They had a high rpm chain saw engine in them and this one has been good to me. It is now acting as a back-up to my Eskimo propane auger.
