so i made up my mind and think im going to give trapping a try this year going for coon and yots for the most part not reall sure what to expect yet buy think it will be interesting 
anyone got any tips out there for people just getting into the sport thanks

Well if you have never trapped before.. Pocket sets are the way to go, they are roughly 10 inches deep in the bank with your trapped placed in about a inch and a half of water in front of the pocket keep the edges of your pocket tight to the sides of the trap, that will help catch your mink, i would also put box or cubbie sets out along the shore it places you are not able to punch in any pockets hoe this is some help.
