Terrova Issue

Terrova Link. If I have the speed over 8.5 it loses connection and turns off. Remote stays on. All I have to do is hit the button again and it works.
    Thoughts?

What voltage? My brother was just telling me his along with a guy he knows that has one, theirs both do the same thing…

    12v? I have a 24v and we ran it at 10 for 30 min – no problem…

Only thing I thought is wiring too small? Motor can’t be overheating underwater, especially when they take right back off?

    Must be sensing something somewhere…

Do you happen to have lithium batteries? You aren’t supposed to run a minnkota over 8 on them because of the extra power they provide

My 24v will occasionally do this.
I too have to increase the motor speed after reconnection.
Seems to be more of an issue when someone is fishing in the bow.

did you do the proper calibrating of the heading sensor?

The heading sensor calibration shouldn’t have anything to do with the motor losing connection.

It’s a 24v and the boat has factory size wire. No clue what it is. I did put a better plug in years ago when I got the boat. I’ve just kept it under 8 power and ignored it. doah
