Ice Conditions??

is the ice still pretty good out on Anglers Bay?? i was just curious with some of this warmer weather lately and all the snow and ice on top of it.. and also if anyone has any fishing reports?? thanx guys

We were out on Friday afternoon/night, Came off from Hales and headed out more towards Big Stony and the ice was plenty thick. I didn’t take any measurements with a tape measure, but I am pretty comfortable saying there is 16-18 inches of good ice. We used snowmobiles and had absolutely no problems getting around. As far as a report…. nothing marked 3 fish in 5 hours and not even a nibble. We tried in shallower about 10 fow and worked out to 15 fow and nothing.

Thousands on Smiths Bay over the weekend and hundreds of vehicles and a couple thousand sleds.. I had a friend drive from Millers to Smiyhs across the lake. Wouldn’t recomend it but he did.
