August 27, 2009 at 2:20 pm #800803Well when I first brought these tubes to Wisconsin.. and had a heck of a time trying to sell them, ICE BLUE was the hot color..
over the years Pink… has been very good to me.. but the traditional colors of smoke. or smoke with flake… or black and chartreuse, brown and orange and the like.. have not been as good..
Try Blue or pink some time.. you might get a big surprise..
especially on the river..
August 27, 2009 at 2:23 pm #800805oh and by the way.. I sold 100,000 tubes two years in a row back in the early 1980’s.. and that’s not bragging, that’s just a fact..
August 28, 2009 at 1:05 am #801012they have to be out there somewhere.. I have probably a bag of pink in the basement if you want to buy a 100.. I’d have to look..
ice blue.. well that may be a tough harder..
of course no one had blue twister tails on the river until I brought them around either.. and of course was told.. THOSE WON’T CATCH FISH.. and now.. every bait shop has them..

I think you can get them at Canyon Plastics. By the way, one of the Garland boys passed this week.. Founder of the tube…They called it the Gitzit.
