Seeking Fort Peck Recommendations

    Beginning to make alternative plans in case the Canadian border is closed again in March. I was supposed to be chasing greenbacks last March and the guide rolled our deposit to 2021. Hoping it works this time around but looking for alternative domestic trips just in case.

    Want to chase lakers on Fort Peck. Easy enough to pack an ATV and go alone or is a guide recommended for narrowing down waters and getting on fish more quickly?

    If you’ve done it, I’d like to hear your thoughts and get any insight you’re willing to share.

    If you fish the humps near the dam, you’ll have very good success there. Very easy access plus you’ll be near a couple marinas and lodges there.
    See Scott Collinsworth who owns fort peck marina. Very very nice and very helpful. He can recommend some Hotspot as well

    Absolutely….I religiously go there every other week when that main lake freezes over lol.
    I got all my spots marked out on navionics.
    If your Canadian trip falls through, let me know. Ill fish with ya

    Will do! Can a guy usually get around on a ATV in Feb/March?

    Fort Peck is definitely on my bucket list this ice fishing season. Talked with a few folks out west a few months ago who couldn’t say anything bad about FP.
