I was watching the Ido show this morning and saw they had a rod holder on the bow of the boat. It holds about 6 rods at once. I have been looking at those to put in my boat. I am just wondering how well they work.

It looks like this one.
I purchased the Cabelas Quick Stow Rod Holder. It fits into a seat post holder. Three different seat post options. You can fit 8 trolling rods no problem. It does not lock into place as a seat does. But has a snug fit. Can run wide open 54 mph with 8 rods no problem.May 1, 2016 at 8:25 pm #1616759Thanks for the info. I have looked at the cabelas one and was wondering if there was a different brand available.

Works great, had the boat in 5′ waves over the weekend and no problems at all. I also don’t have the rod handles sticking into the interior of the boat when trolling.
