Made it out today trolling cranks again.Starting to get the hang of it somewhat .Was out 6:30am till Noon.10 walleyes(1 legal-15 1/2),1 sauger,2 big perch, about 30 whites,a few dorkfish(sheeps) ,and one crappie, and bit off twice.used flicker shads 25-35 ft back, stayed in real tight to shoreline and still was in 6-7 ft water.wont be able to get out for couple weeks so hope the water is down some then.

Hey all, sounds like an exciting August. Thinking about hitting it while the water is not so high and the sun not so hot. Question is jigs or trolling, what ya think?

Gave the TNT serious thought , but went with the trolling. About 15 eyes, a sauger, handfull of whites, and a northern. 3 of the eyes legal. A bit of traffic and a cloud of bugs at the end, but a nice night finally .

so do you jig the TNT?,or run on a planer board?.seems to me would be great on a slow death rig

Another great day on the water. 8 legals and lots of shorts. Jeff thanks for scooping up the lost board. Let me know how you did.

kv56 it was the only thing I netted all day, never caught a fish, congrads on your great day. Decide to put the boat aways and start hunting.
