Rainbow trout spawning in a lake

    These rainbows are preparing to spawn in a the lake near my house. Its a pretty small lake but produces some real nice trout. They spawn in the lake for some reason. I’m not sure what % make it to adult hood but there was a good hatch a couple years ago because there were 5 inchers jumping all over.
