Rail mount/rod holder question

    I bought a used ranger reatta a few years ago (btw which I love) and it has round stainless rails. I have tried several things under the rod holder clamps but they keep spinning if I get hung up on a snag or something. Ideas? Friction tape of some sort?

    Best solution I found was a bike tire inner tube wrapped around the rail under the mount.
