I have 3 or 4 20# tanks and an 11# that I need to refill, does anyone know what the going rate is to refill and if there are cheaper places? I live in Brooklyn Park, and not even sure where to get them filled.

    Thanks for any help.

Closest Tractor Supply. They charge by the gallon. I drive 30 miles just to fill mine in Rockford. Savings are pretty good! waytogo

Just filled mine at sipes in Robbinsdale. Punch card, 4th tank free. $23 with tax.

Don’t know if it’s a good deal or not but throwing it out there.

Bill’s Superette on Brookdale and Xerxes will fill them. I don’t know the cost though.

I know its not in your neighborhood but little bighorn in coon rapids is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS the cheapest. usually 13.99 for a 20 pounder and they give the tank a true FILL up. I live in east bethel and I don’t think twice about driving down to fill 2 tanks for less than 30$. gotta be carefull where ya go some places wont give you a true fill up! especially the blue rhino trade in.

Bills Supperette is another good cheap place to fill also!

Just for price reference, I filled 2 tanks last week and paid $19.98 each including tax for 20-pound tank fills at SuperAmerica in Oakdale.

Tractor Supply is where I get mine filled at. Cheapest place I’ve found in the south metro.

Holiday at 494 and Bass Lake Road in Maple Grove usually has $3 or $5 off coupons. Last fill was $14.99. Likely need a coupon for each tank – depends on who is working at the time

Check your local feed mill or an LP company. Usually the coops or LP companies are cheaper.

Minnoco in Downtown Shakopee has the same price. And their per-gallon price is very reasonable as well.

It’s closer to me in the west metro but I go to Bauer’s in Minnetonka, great prices and good service. They’ll also recondition tanks if they’re out of compliance.

Propane Tank Refill Prices (subject to change due to market conditions)

    Mini (5#-11#) $11.95
    Mini (14#) $14.95
    20# (Standard BBQ) $16.71
    30# (Camper Trailer) $26.72
    33# (Forklift) $29.54
    40# $35.63
    100# (Commercial) $89.08
Bulk ($10 Minimum) $3.00 Per Gallon
