Just wondering if anyone knows what the river looks like around the Lynxville area? Can a person get a boat in yet or are the ramps still iced up?
    Thanks

Was down visiting Len yesterday and the ice is starting to break up. He said he will post when the ramp opens up. Smaller flats are getting in at Genoa and Blackhawk, but floating ice and things makes every day a little different with regards to whether there is any reason to get out on the water. Fishing is still okay through the ice at the dam at Genoa or at least it was yesterday. We are dropping into the deep freeze Sunday so it might change both quickly, one for the worse and one for the better.

It will take a while before the ramp will be open at Lynxville by the looks of things like Mountain Man said. I think if the river hadn’t gone up they would still be able to ice fish below the damn, but the ice is breaking up quite a bit. If it gets as cold as the forcast who knows what it will do.
