Has any one ever used the launches at the casino?
Would like to learn pool 3 and just curious the best place to access pool 3, other than the accesses up by the confluence of the St. Croix and Mississippi.
Thanks

Well, I would guess the landing at T.I. is decent I believe they’ve held a few tourney’s out of there. Hastings launch is decent. There is also Kings cove, Hubs Landing (not sure if that is what it is still called) or Plans Marina in Hastings. Diamond Bluff has a launch but parking is limited.
Just an FYI the bite on pool 3 has not been much if any better than pool 4 this spring. Plan on working for fish.
I also see 90% of people in 300yd stretch day after day and no they’re not catching much right now, mostly eaters and that goes in spurts.
You want to get away from the crowd… So easy on p3
But I heard of a 13# pulled from a popular spot on p4 yesterday
I launch out of Hastings usually as it’s faster and cheaper for me to launch there and head south. If i’m going to the south side of P3, I’ve launched at TI, its a decent place. Launched out of Hastings last night and headed to Prescott area. We did pretty well away from other boats. About a dozen medium Saugers, a 18″ eye and a 13″ crappie in about 2 hours, all on plastics. Water temps were around 48 before the Croix, dropped to 45 or so after the confluence.

Not to offend but what exactly is a medium sauger? If you caught an 18″ eye does that mean the saugers were 9″?
Jesse, they were all about 14-17in. Its been pretty consistent results for us.
