Very nice gun, it is the exact one I am looking to get in the next year or so before I go out west. Keep us posted on how it shoots.

They are not easy to find. Very limited stock in anything but .308 and .270. Wideland or Veil.

Only thing there’s plenty of when it comes to firearms and ammo is empty shelves.

Nice rifle. I’m sure you’ll love it once you get it to the range.

Tikka has done an excellent job of being wonderfully consistent. I bought a Tikka 20-250 the first year they were available in the US. 10 years later, I bought another Tikka. Nothing’s changed, wonderful shooters right out of the box, shoots almost any ammo well enough for hunting, and find a favored load, and the accuracy rivals anything that can be purchased on the off-the-rack market at the price point.

Do you ever come to the cites? I have 46 rounds of federal cartridge polymer tipped and lead tipped I’d let go for 2.50$/ round.

Yeah, Aitkin is a poke from me. And I don’t see myself getting up that way for a while.

Nice gun Bob, I got the same one. I think you will love it, I do mine. I did buy a limbsaver recoil pad for mine, it deffinetely helped tone the kick down and now able to stay shooting longer. Excited to get mine out west this fall. For white tails I have shot 165 gr fusions with good results. I did come across some Federal Troohy Copper in 180gr a couple days ago so Im going to give those a try at the range and see how they perform.

I managed to find some Federal Premiums loaded with 165 grain Barnes. And I have a friend who will reload some once I get some empty brass.

I hope your friend has a good supply of powder, primers, and bullets as most places are sold out on 2 out of 3

He claims he does. We will see I guess. The place I got the Federals from has increased their price $6 a box since I bought them 3 weeks ago. UGH!
