Sounds as though the weather is up in the air for next weekends tournament. Depending on which website you believe we could be in the 60’s or 40’s. Should be very interesting to see how it all plays out. Also should be a fun time fishing against the most current PWT champion after Propst Jr. collected his check today in Chamberlain. Zach, I won’t make it up there untl next week some time. The wife has me headed to Colorado for Easter weekend. Probably a good thing though because a guy could get burned out fishing in this crap for a week straight before the tournament.
Fished with Jr on Lake mac a couple years back.Personally he didn’t impress me much.Decent fisherman but not great.
I know I would like to be not great enough to win back-to-back tourny’s in the PWT

This is his Career. Placings are the last number, as in 1, 16, 17, 9, 16… the only thing I’d hold against him is that I’ve placed higher than him in a few tourneys on Case.

Resume looks impressive.But A company trip I had with him 4 yrs ago on Mac before I moved up here didn’t impress me.A guy I worked with booked a day with him and his dad to guide us for the day.We caught fish but nothing to amazing.I went thinking I would learn something.He fished like anybody else.Boat control wan’t to impressive either.The fish we were catching were on a ridge and drop and instead of working it we would take a 30-40minute drift each time to hit it.Maybe he thought we were just some weekenders that didn’t know what was going on or maybe he was looking to make some easy money.I don’t know but the next couple days we fished there out of my boat fishing similar water and had the same type of fishing .Just got to catch more fish staying closer to them instead of making 1/2 mile drifts to get on them.I don’t follow the tournament trail just love to catch fish If he’s making a great living fishing power to him I wish I could to.Seemed like a decent guy.Just the days fishing didn’t teach me much.Ps I wouldn’t want to learn his hotspots just what type of things guys are looking for.I hate squatters.
