I am looking for some lakes in southern Minnesota that have good jumbo perch fishing. If someone could let me know of some of these lakes it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

I don’t think there is a lake in So. MN. with a large pop. of true jumbos. If there was, it would get pounded into submission.
I seldom target perch, but there a couple areas that do produce them with some regularity. Lake Zumbro has a good population of perch in the 8-10 inch range, lots of smaller ones as well. Several areas near Wabasha in the Mississippi River backwaters have good perch. A couple spots there would be the Dike Road between Wabasha and Nelson, and an area called Wilcox south of Kellogg. I’m sure there are probably lots of the backwaters that have nice perch, so that may be a good place to start. Good Luck!
Good Fishing,
Mike
Thanks for the info Mike, will be gathering information for that area and give it a try.

Slight correction…Wilcox is north of Kellogg and south of Wabasha….
