Mille lacs ice

    I came across this while scrolling. Figured it was worth sharing.

    Yep, I went out west side and there is 7″ white ice with 6″ of water then a 2″ layer of clear ice under that. Made a mess when drilling, Ice chunks kept coming up the whole. We walked out so do not know if we went over any 2″ ice.

    I apologize for being so callous, but even walking you didn’t spud your way out??? If so, I hope you followed the other safety precautions!!! Had a guy around here walk out, went through and struggled getting out of the muck bottom. He did, but I wondereed the same question.

    Especially this year!!!

    I paid a guy that was on the lake making a road, he plowed out a road to 16ft for me. I just stayed on his path LOL
