It was good going yesterday..although there are the nice spots around springs. One dog fell through going to get a stick and had a hard time getting back out. Today is going to put some ware on the ice with the high temps.

    Be safe !!

All the colors have worked actually! !
The two I used mostly lately were the gold and the pink in the 1/16 oz

thanks Dave looks like I,ll have to wait till next year, on what little ice we had this year the glow white work well on the big red ears here in Indiana.

We were out yesterday near Alma and had 16/18″ of ice. Slow bite with a lot of lookers. Tip Downs did the best, managed enough for a good meal for the two of us.

Again my GF out fished me. Lost what would of probably been my PB Crappie at the hole.

Love it with chicks fish !!!

They always out fish us !!!

    Love them tipdowns !!!

I have been messing with using circle hooks…

missing a lot of fish but I have not killed any or lost hooks due to them swallowing them !!

I use small trebles, 16 Eagle Claw. Might have to try the smaller circle hooks.

I got out Sunday on pool 9 as well. This 10″ bull is still swimming. A about a dozen of his smaller compadres swam in coconut oil tonight. Fish were choosy on Sunday… bite really well for about an hour right before it cleared off. Love the feisty fish this time of year… they all feel like bass.

Ice is going fast. We took a canoe to our spot. I dipped my legs getting back. Use extreme caution now! We fished shallow water and wore life jackets.

Way to go Dave! Keep nailing them!
