So the center of the K-Drill auger flighting is larger than the Jiffy or Strike Master, and does not work with the Digger Mount. What does everyone use to mount their K-Drill on ATV, UTV or Snowmobiles?

I made my own mount. The centerline of the yokes are built to the same centerline height as the drill chuck with the drill sitting on the battery for support. The yoke nearest the drill is cut for a 7/8 diameter and the far yoke is cut for a 1 5/8 diameter. In order for the 1 5/8 shaft to sit down into the yoke and clear the K-drill double flutes, the ends must be radiused on opposite sides as shown in the pictures.
I used steel tubing for the frame and some blocks of UHMW (plastic) for the yokes. I cut a tight fitting tenon on the blocks of UHMW to insert them into the tubing.
Y2BA sent me these pictures this week as I was having the same issue with the Lite Flite.
He puts the K Drill in the Kolpin mounts and uses the Digger rack for his regular auger.
Said he travels a lot of miles on the ice and hasn’t had an issue if auger pooping out because it’s not actually strapped.
Kolpin “Pro” (the metal) Rhino Grip mounts. Have used them for a K-Drill, 40v, and also a Lite Flite. Love the versatility. Rock solid. The cast mounts just get a bit of surface corrosion/pitting but it’s cosmetic.
@Huntindave, is that a 6 inch k drill? This is exactly what I’ve been looking for.

Yes the auger shown in the photos is a 6inch. I have an 8inch K-Drill as well and the same mount works for both auger sizes.
Would you be able to make another set?
I don’t foresee needing another set anytime soon.
I’d be interested in possible repurchasing a set from you. I also have a 6″ K drill and the digger braket doesn’t fit it. Needing something like what you’ve created. Email me if you want. [email protected] thanks.
