Can’t find a marbled brown ES63MXF so now looking for the full cork walleye legend tourney 6’3″ mxf. Can’t stand the new St. Croix handles so looking for the older versions. Looking to pay ~$120-140. Let me know if you got one you’re willing to part with.

Have you spent any time fishing the new handles? I didn’t care for them at all to start with but now I love them. Just a thought.

just played around with them in the store. I also found the new tourneys are tip heavy. I’m also not a fan of the new elites. Had one and ended up selling it. Couldn’t get a comfortable grip on that new handle. Big hands…

Thaddeus – I have a 6’3″ custom built Avid I’d be willing to sell. I built it for myself but it doesn’t fit my fishing style. Has a full 12″ custom turned cork handle. If interested I’m happy to shoot some pics and discuss price. This one has smaller running guides (size 5 if I remember right) which helps reduce tip weight. You’ll get the heavy tip with the Legend Tournament because the skeleton handle is so light.

They just re-did the elite handle again for 2016. Far better foregrip than the previous setup.

That’s the rod I had. The new 2016 elite. Didn’t like the exposed blank in the reel seat. Couldn’t get comfortable with it so I found a corked xtreme that fits my big paw a lot better. Talked to some reps at a convention that there are rumblings of a new walleye tourney design in 2017…

I doubt you’ll find someone willing to let a $400 rod go for $120-$140… JS.

I believe they are more like 225. Legend extreme might be 400.

For a 4+ year old rod that retailed $210 my asking price is more than fair. Got a legend xtreme xs68mxf and xs69mlxf for $160 each…
