Just starting a thread…..I live south of the highway 20 line across the state. I was in NW Iowa last weekend, plenty of ice up that way. I live in eastern Iowa….just seeing where I can go tomorrow that’s useable.

Also from Eastern Iowa, everywhere I have been has been in the 3-5″ range. Not great but manageable. Snow last week made a slushy mess in some spots. Definitely still use caution. Check out the Iowa DNR website to get an idea of some public reports across the state too.

I checked out Palo yesterday afternoon….I didn’t venture too far from shore and found 5″ of ice in the spot I was on. Nobody was fishing along the dam, and I noticed a couple people fishing the old roadbed (west of the beach), and further up in the back part of the lake (under the power lines). Haven’t heard anything about Lake Macbride, Kent Park, etc.
