Ice condition? Slick and thick. A dusting of snow tonight could help in the slickness department if it sticks. Did have some good luck today in the fish’n department. Avoided the collective crowd on the ice by at least 75 yards. Cecils & Diamonds were the best baits. And boy do I love it when I re-discover a new color Cecil! The fish were simple enhaling the Gold Cecil at times today ~ but that red dot Black with gold glitter was simple dynamite ~ especially when the sun came out for a brief mid-day visit.

Few more. Bass were an issue at times. They’re big and pull hard and steel tackle if you don’t watch what you’re doing. Only a couple Perch today. This nice female took my Firetiger Diamond for a ride!

All fish released to be caught another day.

Great fish and better info! I like how you told us what worked and what the conditions were when they worked. Thanks.
