Hummingbird Ice 45question

    I got a new Ice 45 this year and was having great luck with it. I went with a buddy a few days ago who also has an Ice 45. My unit would work great until he got within 20 feet of me with his unit. I pushed my noise button and adjusted the settings 1-10 on the display and got no relief from all the garbage on my screen. He had no interference on his screen from my unit. His unit is 2 years old and mine is new, does that make any difference? Is there something else that I can try or am not doing correctly to make this more usable when fishing around another unit. Any help would be appreciated.

    Sounds like an issue with the interference rejection on your unit. If it is under warranty I’d get it in for repairs. I’d recommend calling the manufacturer as the first order of business.
