Fished the northern metro last night and caught a few eyes. Fish for about 4 hrs and caught 18 eyes. Drilled alot of holes with my new stikemaster strike lite auger but it was well worth it. They were in about 9-14 fow and were hammering the custom jigs and spins demon jigging spoons. These fish were very aggresive. We were fishing the weed edge of standing weeds. We were tipping the demon spoons with the alive minnow heads that are the next best thing. You dont have to dig your hands in a cold minnow bucket and that is nice when it is 11 degrees outside.
